Teach Preschool

http://www.teachpreschool.org/

This website is for preschool teachers. It is well written and has great ideas! It also has links to other teacher's blogs, which is a nice touch.
The website has many ideas for activities and strategies. It has a great tab called, Powered By Play. Under this tab there are some great information and ideas dealing with early childhood development issues. One of my favorite activities on this blog is the first activity about sorting fall colors. I haven't seen this type of activity done this way before. The teacher had kids go out on a leaf hunt and then they sorted the leaves by color. The teacher had put different colors of construction paper on the table, that the leaves went on.
This website has many great activities and resources for early childhood teachers.

PreKinders

This website is for preschool teachers. It is written by Karen Cox. The teacher has included many resources for all types of activities for the early childhood classroom.
The website is well organized and easy to navigate. The teacher included tabs for resources in the preschool classroom. She has tabs on management, strategies, activities, and ideas.
My favorite tab is the centers tab. She has included great activity ideas for center time. Under the literacy center tab she has links to particular activities. She has one for alphabet center ideas. The ideas are creative and easy for any teacher to incorporate into their classroom.

Kindergarten Kindergarten

http://www.kindergartenkindergarten.com/

This website is another one of my favorite places to get great ideas! The teacher who writes it is a kindergarten teacher. She has many fabulous ideas that she shares with teachers.
She has topics on classroom management and classroom organization. I particularly like her PowerPoint presentation on living verses non-living things. I used this lesson with my class last year and they did amazing things with it. My students wrote great things about living and non-living things. I also use her ideas for the math journal. I have enjoyed seeing my students progression with using her ideas on how she teaches math.
The website is not updated on a regular basis, but it is an exceptional resource for kindergarten teachers!

Mrs. Jump's Class

http://mrsjumpsclass.blogspot.com/

The first website is one of my favorite blogs to find new ideas! This blog is written by a kindergarten teacher, Deanna Jump. She has many activities ideas for the classroom. She also has pictures of her own classroom arrangement. Another one of the topics listed on her website is, Organization Station..Rewind! In that topic she discussed how she kept things organized in her classroom. She also has great ideas on strategies to teach the Common Core Curriculum.
Another thing I enjoy about this blog is that it has many links to other teacher's blogs. You can get many ideas from current teachers from all over the country!
