This website is for preschool teachers. It is well written and has great ideas! It also has links to other teacher's blogs, which is a nice touch.
The website has many ideas for activities and strategies. It has a great tab called, Powered By Play. Under this tab there are some great information and ideas dealing with early childhood development issues. One of my favorite activities on this blog is the first activity about sorting fall colors. I haven't seen this type of activity done this way before. The teacher had kids go out on a leaf hunt and then they sorted the leaves by color. The teacher had put different colors of construction paper on the table, that the leaves went on.
This website has many great activities and resources for early childhood teachers.
This is a web site I chose also. It is full of great information that I can see myself using in my own classroom. N. Hopkins
ReplyDeleteI used this site as well. I loved it. Ms. Stewart has so many interesting topics that she covers. I also agree so much with her when she says that classroom set up is always a work in progress.
ReplyDeleteI like this website too! The teacher has some excellent ideas. And I love the leaf table idea, those are the types of hands on activities I enjoy doing with my class.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing amd I love your blog!! Green is my favorite color!
